Humor can be so sad

This has to be the most hilarious thing in politics I’ve ever heard. President Barack Obama today, after chastising again budgets he voted for:

“As I’ve said, in the long run, we can’t continue to spend as if deficits don’t have consequences, as if waste doesn’t matter, as if the hard-earned tax dollars of the American people can be treated like monopoly money. That‘s what we‘ve seen time and time again.”

This from the man who has rung up a federal deficit higher than any other president in just his first year. A man who signed a massive piece of pork that he called a stimulus, and is expected to sign a bill with over 5,000 “earmarks” of wasteful spending after he vowed he would not sign a spending bill with a single earmark in it. A man whose treasury department is printing money at record rates and inviting huge inflation. For crying out loud, a man who literally said we have to spend our way out of this recession!

His congress is not only driving us into debt unseen (and unsustainable), they are trying to borrow more money by raising our “debt ceiling” a couple more trillion dollars. He is all about spending as much of other people’s money as he can. Yet he stands in front of the nation and has the nerve to tell us we can’t keep spending like he is.

Well then sir, STOP IT!
