This week Matt Lauer introduced Today Show interviewee Rush Limbaugh as a “controversial conservative radio host.”  I thought to NBC controversial and conservative were synonyms.  Anyway, why is it that the media gets to determine who is considered “controversial”?  Barack Obama has to be the most controversial president of the last century, and yet we never hear, “Today, the controversial liberal president…”  Come to think of it, we never hear the words “controversial” and “liberal” in the same sentence on any network.  Well, maybe at FOX, but they don’t really count as legitimate news, do they, Mr. President?
